As an avid beach lover who usually finds myself soaking up the sun along Spain's gorgeous coastline, my recent stay at the Bunkhouse Motel in Cooma was a refreshing change of pace. Nestled just a stone's throw from the Snowy Mountains, this cozy spot offers a warm welcome and budget-friendly accommodation, perfect for my spontaneous getaway with a couple of friends. What struck me most was the exceptional cleanliness of the rooms-everything was spotless, which immediately gave me that comforting feel of home, even if it wasn't the beach. Our cozy double room came equipped with all we needed, including a private bathroom and a decent flat-screen TV for our movie nights after long days exploring the area. We also enjoyed the luxury of air conditioning, making our stay comfy despite the chilly mountain air. Finding a place with ample parking is always a bonus, and the Bunkhouse Motel offered this along with a friendly atmosphere that felt just right for our autumn escape. Despite it not being my usual sunny beach retreat, I could certainly see myself returning for another laid-back experience in this lovely corner of Australia.
